Become a Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society volunteer
Helping the Society
A volunteer centered organization -- no experience necessary!
Trained volunteers serve at every level of the Society -- from our Board of Directors to our smallest Emergency Service Offices (ESOs). In as few as two hours a week, you can make a world of difference in the lives of others. Share your talents by serving in such areas as: financial education, client services, casework, public speaking, volunteer management and administration, publicity, and more. There are also retail associate and management opportunities within our thriving Thrift Shop operations.
In return, you receive comprehensive training and mentorship, learn valuable skills, and make a difference for others. The Society also reimburses volunteers for some transportation and family member care expenses.
Volunteer opportunities exist at all Society offices. Most offices are open during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Monday to Friday. There are occasional evening and weekend volunteer opportunities.
